Bridge Cottage

Monmouthshire

View on Google Maps

Bridge Cottage is a detached stone cottage on the banks of the River Wye in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property sits within walking distance of the valley's woodland and river paths, making it a natural base for exploring the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Tintern, Chepstow, Ross-on-Wye and Symonds Yat are all within driving distance. The Boat Inn is nearby for an evening out.

Inside, there are two bedrooms sleeping four: a double and two singles, plus one bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, the living and dining room has a wood-burning stove and smart TV. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Outside, a wild garden with natural streams and a decking area overlooks the river, though there is an unfenced stretch of water ten yards from the cottage. The property draws its water from a natural spring. No smoking is permitted, and children under five are not suitable for this property due to the water features and steep internal stairs.
