Llangovan's rural surroundings are prime walking territory, with Monmouth's market town and castle within reach by car, and the Wye Valley's river walks and woodland trails nearby. Pink Lady sits among apple trees on its own plot, offering genuine seclusion without sacrificing the essentials. A single double bed, shower room and kitchen area make up the shepherd's hut's entire footprint—designed efficiently, it feels bright and open despite its compact size. Electric heating runs throughout, and if you want atmosphere on cooler evenings, the woodburner is ready lit.

You get a proper kitchenette with hob, fridge and cooking kit, so self-catering is straightforward. Wifi is live, bed linen and towels are provided, and your one parking space sits on site. One dog is welcome at no extra cost. The hut is non-smoking.

This works as a retreat for two—whether you're after peace and countryside air or using it as a base for walking and exploring the wider region. Check-in is after 4pm and you'll need to leave by 11am.
