We stayed in the lake house and have left very relaxed. The house was very comfortable, roomy and had everything you would need. The lake house is set in stunning surroundings and was exceptionally peaceful. The only sounds you can hear is birdsong and the brook, heaven! There are some beautiful walks within the grounds. Mike was an exceptional host who was very kind, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this little gem.

A wonderful, stress free camping trip for someone who definitely isn’t a camper! From the fairy lights in the yurt, the secret woodland play area, racing ducks in the brook and campfires… a magical time from start to finish! And there’s even a dishwasher! Thank you Mike and team!

We stayed at Hidden Valley in Yurt 1, and it was honestly the best yurt experience we’ve ever had. The yurt itself was beautiful, spacious, and warm during the slightly chilly late August evenings. With private facilities and a well-equipped kitchen, it had all the comforts of home — hot shower, oven, kettle, and even plug sockets, while still feeling remote and close to nature. I visited with my partner and our four children (ages 8–13), and it was perfect for all of us. The kids had endless space to run around, explore the stream, and play for hours without ever being bored. The stars at night were absolutely magical, and I even managed to sleep really well despite usually struggling with insomnia. Must have been the fresh air in the valley! We loved wandering the farm and watching the resident Highland cows. Mike, the owner, was brilliant. He was helpful, professional, and with great communication throughout. His effort and care really show in how special the place feels. Locally, we’d recommend a visit to Tintern Abbey and the nearby Four Waterfalls walk. We swam in the falls which was a highlight. Overall, Hidden Valley offered the perfect mix of adventure and comfort for our family, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Mike, for creating such a wonderful place!

We had such a lovely 5 days staying in yurt 4. Kitchen was everything you could need to make the stay easy, kids were entertained with the stream and jungle gym and it was locely sharing the communal bbqs and firepits with friends. Bathrooms were clean and everything you needed. Lots to do in the local area for 2 under 5s. Would recommend for anyone wanting a few days away from the chaos of life!
