Rural Monmouthshire offers rolling countryside and easy reach of market towns, with The Haybarn positioned on a hillside overlooking the Vale of Usk. The converted barn sits within 20 acres of grounds, part of a larger farm property, with a pub a mile away and restaurants similarly close. Monmouth, Chepstow and Ross on Wye are all within reasonable driving distance, along with the Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat for day trips.
The property sleeps six across three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite. Two rooms have double beds; the third contains two singles. Upstairs, an open-plan living area combines lounge, dining and kitchen space, with a woodburner, television and DVD player. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—ceramic hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher. An enclosed courtyard with patio and furniture sits outside, along with a barbecue. Private parking fits two cars. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, and a travel cot and highchair are available for those who need them.
One dog stays free. The property is no-smoking throughout. Note that an unfenced pond lies about 50 yards from the barn.
