The Lodge

You enter The Lodge into an open-plan living space that connects the sitting room, dining area and kitchen without walls between them. A wood burner anchors the lounge, where you'll also find a sofa bed; the dining area and kitchen flow naturally from here, with an induction hob and electric oven ready for cooking. A utility room with washer-dryer and freezer sits off to one side. The property is all on the ground floor except for two bedrooms accessed by three steps: one with a kingsize bed and en-suite shower, the other with a three-quarter double and its own en-suite. There's a third bathroom with shower as well. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner and a welcome pack.

Outside, the property is wrapped by lawn enclosed with fencing, with a decked area to the side and a small patio at the front—each furnished with outdoor seating. Parking for two cars is on site. The house was restored to a high standard in 2022 and retains Grade II listed features including bread ovens and original wall shapes. It's a short distance from Usk and the wider Monmouthshire landscape, making it equally suited to exploring the area or simply using the garden as your base. No smoking.
