Burghead is a historic fishing village on the Moray coast, and Emerald Cottage sits within walking distance of its beaches. The cottage itself is a substantial stone property with views across the Firth and bay, decorated throughout in a relaxed style that feels both spacious and comfortable for unwinding between days out.

Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with a woodburner and French doors opening to the enclosed garden, a double bedroom with en-suite, and a well-equipped kitchen-diner. Upstairs are two further bedrooms – a kingsize and a twin – with a shower room between them. The property sleeps six and comes with bed linen, towels and wi-fi included; electricity is metered. A garage at the rear houses a washing machine, freezer and drying space useful for wetsuits or outdoor gear, and there is on-road parking outside.

The enclosed garden has seating, garden furniture and a barbecue. Families with young children will find a travel cot and highchair available. One well-behaved pet can stay at no extra charge. The village itself is known for water sports and coastal walking, and the beaches are minutes away on foot. Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
