Mountain View

Mountain View is a detached house on the edge of Tomintoul, sleeping six across three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room has a wood burner—fuel for it is included—along with a DVD player and Freeview TV. Downstairs there's also a dining room, a kitchen with electric range and dishwasher, and a utility room with washing machine. One bedroom on the ground floor has a kingsize bed and an ensuite wet room; upstairs, a second kingsize and a twin complete the sleeping arrangement. An enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture backs onto fields, with the Avonside Hills visible beyond. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, and there's parking for two cars.

The setting suits walkers, cyclists and anyone exploring the Cairngorms—the Lecht ski centre, Glenlivet Mountain Bike centre and numerous hill routes are nearby. Horse riding is available from the village itself. For those after something different, the Whisky Trail passes close by, the Moray coast is an hour away, and Tomintoul has shops and restaurants. The house does not accommodate smoking. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
