Oak Studio

Oak Studio is a purpose-built studio constructed from locally sourced, environmentally friendly materials. The single open-plan space combines a living area, kitchenette and bedroom in one room, with a separate walk-in shower and toilet. A zip-and-link kingsize bed can be separated into twin singles on request, and there's a sofa bed too, making the studio suitable for a single person, a couple, or a small family. The property sits at ground level with level access throughout and a ramp to the entrance, designed for guests who need fully accessible accommodation.

Everything is on one floor: the kitchen has an electric hob, combi microwave-oven-grill, and fridge-freezer for self-catering; there's no television. Wood chip fired heating keeps things warm, and essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. Outside, a shared veranda has garden furniture overlooking an open paddock with trees and ponds. There's parking for two cars on site, and a shared laundry room is available by request.

The studio sits in countryside near the coast of the Moray Firth, within reach of the historic town of Forres and the village of Findhorn. Day trips extend to Speyside, Aberdeenshire and the Cairngorms. One dog is welcome to stay free of charge. No smoking is permitted inside.
