Moray

Buckie and the surrounding Moray coast draw visitors for the fishing villages, cliff walks, and access to whisky distilleries and castles. Dolphin View sits on high ground above the harbour, taking in views across the water and along the shoreline. The cottage accommodates six guests in three bedrooms: a double on the ground floor and two singles upstairs, plus a twin that can sleep two more if needed.
The living space spreads across two levels. Downstairs, the sitting room faces the view with a television and electric fire; the kitchen and dining area are fully equipped for self-catering, with an oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs bedrooms have Velux windows angled to catch the outlook. The single bathroom is on the ground floor. Outside, a shared paved garden with seating looks towards the boats and wildlife; you have private parking for two cars on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
The village of Portknockie lies 500 yards away with a fish and chip shop, pub and restaurant within walking distance. Beach access is nearby. No smoking indoors.

What guests say
A warm welcome and a warm house. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc and the view from the conservatory is the ever changing beautiful sky and sea. Plus it overlooks the harbour. The people we met in the village were all friendly, saying hello or having conversations upon passing us on our walks. Portknockie is also a good central spot for getting to other towns and villages.

Feels like a second home. Clean, comfortable and with all amenities required . Location is stunning with views over the harbour and Moray Firth. An added bonus is wild dolphins travelling by and if you are lucky putting on a show.
