White Gables stands on the elevated edge of Buckie, a working fishing village where the coast curves between cliffs and sandy beaches. The cottage itself commands views across the harbour and Moray coastline—the kind you can watch from an armchair or from the garden while boats come and go. The village sits within reach of the Whisky Trail and castle routes, with golf, riding, fishing and coastal walks all nearby. Portknockie Fish & Chip Shop is a short walk away, as is the local shop, pub and restaurant.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with television and electric fire, opening through to a kitchen and dining space with large windows framing the views. One double bedroom and a bathroom with shower are also downstairs. Upstairs, a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom both have roof windows. The cottage sleeps six and comes with essentials included: electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi. Outside, an enclosed garden with sitting area and furniture offers a sheltered spot to take in the water views. The property is non-smoking. Note that three steps lead into the garden.

What guests say
A warm welcome and a warm house. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc and the view from the conservatory is the ever changing beautiful sky and sea. Plus it overlooks the harbour. The people we met in the village were all friendly, saying hello or having conversations upon passing us on our walks. Portknockie is also a good central spot for getting to other towns and villages.

Feels like a second home. Clean, comfortable and with all amenities required . Location is stunning with views over the harbour and Moray Firth. An added bonus is wild dolphins travelling by and if you are lucky putting on a show.
