Strathlene Lodge sits on the Moray coast with Strathlene Golf Club on the doorstep and the sea immediately adjacent. Buckie itself has real character as a working fishing town with the Buckie and District Fishing Heritage Centre documenting its maritime past. The nearby coastal path reaches Covesea Lighthouse, and a short drive opens up the Speyside Whisky Trail distilleries, the villages of Cullen and Findochty, and the Moray Coast Wildlife Centre.
The lodge sleeps four across two bedrooms: a double with a pull-out single on the ground floor, and two singles upstairs. There is one bathroom with a corner bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. A woodburner heats the main living space, and oil central heating covers the rest. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. A lawned garden with decking and barbecue faces the coast; parking for two cars is on site, and there is a bike store.
The property does not permit smoking. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available for families with young children.

Lovely lodge by the sea. Great as a base to tour around western Scotland. You will see seals at every high tide, which was a bonus. The lodge was very well stocked of everything required to have a nice stay.
