The Laurels is a detached house built with character and comfort in mind. Three double bedrooms and two bathrooms mean there's plenty of space for a family of six or two couples travelling together. Downstairs, the living room centres on a multi-fuel burner, while the dining room and kitchen with breakfast area provide room to gather. A walk-in shower and separate bathroom with bath and shower attachment cater to different preferences.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer are all here. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and the essentials like heating and electricity are covered. Outside, a back garden with seating area, garden furniture and a firepit creates space for summer evenings; there's parking for three cars and room for one pet. Forres itself is close by, with shops, pubs and cafés, while the coastal town of Nairn is within reach for seaside visits. The Moray landscape opens onto highland scenery—the Cairngorms, Findhorn's coastal views and local villages are all accessible, alongside historical sites like Brodie Castle, Sueno's Stone in Forres itself, and further afield, Culloden and Loch Ness.

Lovely cottage for a family holiday. Grand children were fascinated with the surrounding wildlife.

I booked the Laurels for the week of a family wedding. Cousins from, Switzerland, France and West Sussex stayed there and were very comfortable. It's a lovely, tastefully furnished house set in a large private garden. Amy is easy to contact and extremely helpful. Highly recommend.

What a lovely cosy Holiday Cottage, well placed for Inverness, Nairn, Carrbridge for Landmark Forest of Adventure and Beyond, lovely walks, we found a small walk in the local wood not 5 mins from the door
