Great place, great work, but it could do with more signs at the entrance showing which direction cars should go to park. The entrance desk should also be at the entrance, really, as anybody can just park up, walk around, and nobody would know. We are honest; we bought tickets and eventually found our way to reception. The cafe was expensive. They encourage you to order on the app, but no gluten-free options were available. I had to ask two members of staff if there was anything available and then ended up queuing anyway. One tiny slice of Victoria sponge was there at 11 a.m., so not a great selection at all for allergens. It was absolute chaos too; it did not feel relaxed. For everybody else, the 'afternoon teas' looked great. As I was on a mobility scooter, the ramp in the superheroes' marquee was terrible. I got stuck as it was not an 'all-in-one' ramp, and two men had to lift me and my scooter in/out so that particular ramp and entrance is no good for wheelchair users. Sculptures throughout the park were awesome, though. Great detail and hard work have not gone unnoticed.

Such an unusual place to visit. We spent 3-4 hours here exploring and enjoying afternoon tea.The staff were really helpful. The tea was really good, generous portions. Couple of sandwiches were a little dry, probably as we had last sitting of the day. Not sure if we missed out on strawberry on the cream for the scones. Portions were big! Its worth booking in advance as entrance amd parking included with afternoon tea makes it really good value.

Brilliant day out. Such a huge expanse of ground to cover and the sculptures are out of this world. All made from scrap. Some sculptures with a conscience and a back story, interesting, some about controversial subjects, definitely got us talking. The knife angel was away on tour (check before you go if you are hoping to see this). We have seen it before, it is such an emotional piece. The Manchester Bee was there, this was good to see, but heartbreakingly sad. The gigantic transformers, dragons, the knife throne, characters, wildlife, etc, all brilliant. We didn't really know what to expect and it surprised us in the best way possible. Please allow a good few hours at least if you want to look around properly. Parking is easy and there are loads of spaces, although the car park could be signposted a bit better, as could the main reception/ticket office. Please don't forget to put your little ticket on your dashboard. You can hire golf buggies to drive around the site and all of the areas are accessible and wheelchair/pushchair friendly. There were signs for a road train as well (needs to be prebooked at the reception desk). All staff were really welcoming and friendly, helpful, pleasant. Just lovely. The cafe was busy. Lots of reserved tables taking up most of the indoor area (so booking before you go might be an jdea). We didn't, but managed to get a table outside (the weather was sunny). We ordered from the qr code at the table. The wait was longer than usual, but they were extremely busy, so to be expected. None of it was an issue and it was nice to relax in the sunshine whilst waiting. The shop is very well stocked, with loads of nice things. Really good shopping experience. I will return to finish my treck around the 70 odd acres, we just didn't allow enough time in our day. Very much worth a visit.

Well worth a visit, we had 18 month and 3 year old with us, they thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the sculptures, the playground was great for them too. They even enjoyed looking round the shops! Train ride was an added bonus for them. The cafe was lovely, we saw the afternoon tea being brought out, it looked the best afternoon tea I have ever seen!! Plenty to see! Price was well worth the visit and we will return if in area again!
