Absolutely fantastic morning out at Broadway Museum & Art Gallery. We won a butter churning voucher for 6 so we went to see what it was all about. We had a 2 hour slot where we were greeted by a lovely lady called Anona who walked us round the museum showing us all the old artefacts, we had a drink on arrival & she was very knowledgeable about all the history of Broadway, even the kids were fascinated. We learnt so much. Then it was time for the butter churning which was a great experience. Once we had made our butter it was put in the fridge to chill while we finished the tour. We then got to enjoy tomato soup with crusty bread & our butter so we could taste what it was like, the rest we brought home. We would definitely recommend trying this experience, it’s a great museum & the staff are all lovely.

Fabulous and fascinating, and everything a visitor wants from a local museum, with friendly staff and well considered interpretation and audioguide content. Connected with the world-famous Ashmolean museum, this place displays some very classy art and artifacts, starting way back in the Jurassic. We visited during the extraordinary Willard Wigan micro-sculpture exhibition, which defies understanding! Highly recommended

I visited to see the Willard Wigan Tiny World exhibition, which was amazing, but the museum has so many other interesting exhibits, stories and paintings it’s well worth a visit. If you have children the top floor is magical and full of things for them to do!
