About Redesdale Arms Hotel
Moreton-in-Marsh is one of the more convenient Cotswolds towns to base yourself in, with its wide High Street and easy road links, and the Redesdale Arms Hotel sits right in the middle of it. This is a traditional hotel offering en-suite rooms including family and accessible options, with room service and drinks available if you'd rather not head out.
The hotel has its own restaurant and bar, plus outdoor seating for warmer days, and breakfast and packed lunches are both available, useful for early starts or days spent walking or cycling nearby. Free on-site parking is a genuine plus in a town centre location, and 24 hour reception means arrival times are flexible. Free WiFi and luggage storage round out the practical side of things.
Beyond the hotel, Moreton-in-Marsh has pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach, and the surrounding area suits golf, cycling and walking. Batsford Arboretum is also close by for a change of pace. It's a hotel built around convenience rather than flourish, and does that job well.
People say this hotel offers delicious food, including hearty breakfasts and excellent Sunday roasts, with comfortable, clean, and well-equipped rooms. They also highlight the friendly, attentive staff and the convenient parking.
Some reviews mention the service can be inefficient.
