About Pen y Bryn Lleyn
If you're after a dollop of seaside adventure with your camping experience, Pen y Bryn Lleyn in Gwynedd might just be for you – it's pretty much midway between the cracking beaches at Morfa Nefyn (15 minutes' drive), Abersoch (20 minutes) and Porth Neigwl (25 minutes).
Dogs, kids, friends and families are all most welcome on this working farm, with pitches in a peaceful hilltop field blessed with spectacular coastal and countryside views as well as magnificent sunsets. Hot showers, chemical loos and a washing-up sink are neatly housed in a repurposed static caravan, and campfires add to the wild camping atmosphere.
Changed your mind about cooking? Tudweiliog village (five minutes) has a down-to-earth pub with a sun-trap beer garden and gorgeous hill views, plus a snooker table and darts if you fancy challenging new-found friends. For something fancier, Abersoch has everything from pizzerias to seafood restaurants overlooking the beach.
