What visitors say

Andrew Rhodes

Visited Fraisthorpe Beach for the first ever time today and loved it! It was an impromptu trip to the beach for me, my elderly mum and our Golden Retriever! Beautiful views, clean and tidy, dog friendly year round! Easy parking right on the beach! It was quite busy, understandably but still easy enough to have part of the beach to yourself. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful clean, dog friendly beach with paid parking next to the beach side. There is also a cafe, toilets and dog washing station next to the beach. Love to visit here when we are in the area. Only downside is single track winding road in/out with very few passing points relying on manners from other drivers which can be limited! Definitely worth a visit. Do ensure you pay for parking, I spoke with a lovely gentleman who was helping drivers with their parking payments. Very polite, kind and doing a fantastic job.

Gorgeous dog friendly beach with a WW2 history, bunkers on the beach. Shingle beach when the tide is in, but when the tide is out miles of golden sand and rock pools. There is plenty of reasonably priced parking. Toilet facilities, Dog friendly café serving hot/cold food, delicious cakes.

One of the best beaches for dog owners. Only one road in and out and one beach cafe but has toilets. Parking bit expensive for a grassed area with stone track
