What visitors say

Mike Barrow

Beautiful views from both sides of the white sand beach, from the Isle of Wight to Christchurch. Great walks around Hengistbury Head to the picturesque line of chalets in Mudeford. Lovely bar and restaurant, serving a range of food from sea food to pizza. Unspoilt English beach.

Absolutely beautiful place. Beach are clean perfect for walk or just day out and relax... One thing need to have in mind, is bit windy in this side.

Gorgeous, peaceful beach with beautiful natural surroundings — a great escape from the busier seaside spots. The mix of sand and pebbles, dramatic cliffs and views out over the sea make it perfect for long walks, wildlife watching or just relaxing by the shore. Lovely cafés and toilets nearby, and it’s great for dogs all year round as well. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
