About Dolbryn Caravan and Camping
Tucked in a quiet valley five minutes from Newcastle Emlyn, Dolbryn is a wildlife haven where hedgerows, ponds and streams harbour birds, butterflies and small mammals. Families can help feed the chickens, goats, pigs and rabbits at weekends, while a small fishing pond offers grown-ups a couple of hours' peace with the rod. During high season a converted barn opens as a cosy bar, and a pizza trailer pulls in for easy suppers; there's also a farm shop selling locally reared meat and baked goods. For those who prefer cooking over flame, firepits await on the oak-tree island.
Heated shower blocks are housed in repurposed farm buildings, and there's a family room with disabled access, plus a laundry and large communal fridge-freezer. Pitches range from non-electric grass to fully serviced gravel stands. The site can feel a little tired in places outside peak season, but the tranquil setting and genuine farm-life charm more than compensate. Beaches at Aberporth and Penbryn lie 25 minutes away.

What visitors say
Lovely stay here, the facilities were nice and clean, the staff were lovely - bar-n and quiz were a great extra touch (they even handed out Welsh cakes throughout the evening) and loved being able to order fresh pastries for breakfast! Given it 4 stars for location as the site itself was great, a peaceful, quiet location and nice to walk around the site (the pigs were so friendly) but it was quite an isolated spot. Nothing against the site obviously as the location is clear when booking, but probably one for driving rather than walking.

Myself and my boyfriend booked for one night camping here and ended up booking another two nights! We absolutely loved it here. The location was great, the views were amazing and the staff were so kind and made sure we were looked after. All facilities were clean and well kept. Both the owners were very kind to us. We were supposed to be on a different field however, the lady offered to move us closer to all the facilities and somewhere quieter which was great! I would highly recommend booking here and we will definitely be booking to come back again in the near future!

Family and Friends have stayed at this campsite for the past 3 years. We have just returned from 6 nights camping here and had a very different experience this time. This was mainly done to one older gentleman working / owner, who was rude, patronising and made our stay uncomfortable. The rudeness from this man continued from start to finish, amongst many warnings around a TV in a campervan being too loud in the middle of the day, telling children which were aged up to 13 years old to be in their tents by 9pm, charging an extra day rate as missed packing away by 20 minutes, telling adults to not behave like children as we were up past 11pm sitting by our tents talking. We will not be returning to Dolbryn again and suggest others don't because of this gentleman
