Rural camping and touring site with a glamping yurt and ten minutes from the Cenarth Falls. Dog friendly.

About Fron Rafel Caravan and Camp Site

Tucked into seven acres of Teifi Valley countryside, Fron Rafel delivers the Welsh welcome its reputation promises. This small family-run site earns consistent praise for friendly, helpful owners and sweeping rural views, though facilities can feel a touch dated despite recent improvements to the shower block. Dogs are welcome to roam, and the choice of electric grass or hardstanding pitches suits most tourers.

Location-wise, you're brilliantly placed: Newcastle Emlyn's shops and cafes are under 10 minutes' drive, while Cenarth Falls—famed for leaping salmon—lies 15 minutes away for waterfall walks. Poppit Sands' family beach is 35 minutes if you fancy swapping hills for coast, and Brechfa Forest offers mountain biking within half an hour. Local outfitters can arrange canoe trips on the Teifi, making this a solid base for active exploration. Cardigan and Carmarthen, both around 30 minutes, provide market-town browsing when you're done with the outdoors.

Lovely site, February isn't the best month. But great location, lovely owner, very clean facilities and fab showers. Will go back 👍

Had a fantastic stay in the Yurt! It feels massive inside, a lovely living space, really light and airy. Very comfy beds, a log burner, wardrobe, and tea & coffee making facilities with a small fridge, undercover right outside the door. The full size private bathroom and kitchen were a super touch, couldn't have wished for anything else! The secluded private decking overlooking the pond was so relaxing and peaceful, we didn't want to come home! Perfectly situated for exploring the local area and plenty of places to visit. Amanda and Kevin are fantastic hosts, friendly, super responsive and happy to help. They were always nearby should we need a hand with anything, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks for having us and we're already thinking of when we can return!

Stayed in recently refurbished static caravan, which was great. Very well maintained and welcome goodies left in fridge, which was a lovely touch. Decking area with table, chairs and BBQ was brilliant. Campsite is spotless, and has the most stunning views. Steve was very friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We will definitely be back!

We loved this campsite. I have already recommended it to lots of friends and we would definitely like to come back. The quietest campsite ever as all you can hear in the night is the wind in the trees, we all slept really well. Facilities really helpful and bathrooms were really nice. Plenty of space and Steve the owner is always on hand chatting and helping if anyone needs an extra hand. Would/have and will recommend! X
