Didn't know this place existed. Enjoyed the visit, good cafe, good disabled access. Although the pontoon walkways crossing the swamp areas were a little bit bumpy for the wheelchair. Good scenery looking out across the wetlands.

Love this place! Went on a drab weekend but it's always busy! Quick tip? Get a membership! Saves time, faff, and supports excellent work. You don't see much, often, but there were plenty of tufted ducks and Canadian geese evident, and if you get one of those bird apps you'll be surprised at how many species you hear but didn't know about! It's a lovely walk, and the café had some smashing cakes. What's not to love?

We visited Wetlands last week with our son who is a power chair user. Everyone we spoke to were very helpful with accessibility, advising the best ways round with the wheelchair. We had a great day looking round the whole place which was very interesting, my wife & daughter hired a pair of binoculars each which came in handy. The cafe & toilets were excellent for accessibility & a word of advice, go into the cafe hungry as there is an excellent selection of pasties & sandwiches. It was a lovely day out!

We had such a fun time at RSPB. Entry into the wetlands is free but you have to pay £5.00 for parking. If you're an RSPB member parking is free as well. The staff at the entrance are very helpful in guiding you and the visitor centre is very informative. One thing that surprised me was how vegan friendly the cafe is! They've got alternative milks (for no additional cost!) and many vegan food options. They also had vegan Marshmallows and whipped cream which is quite hard to find even in popular franchises! The Easter treats were also dairy free Easter eggs! With so many dairy chocolate eggs options available, it was very nice to see them promoting the vegan option. The landscape is beautiful and there are plenty walking courses to choose from. 10/10 recommend!
