Newquay is Cornwall's classic seaside base, close to the coast and within easy reach of the Eden Project, and St Bernards Guesthouse sits a short distance from the town centre on Berry Road. With just seven rooms, it has the feel of a small, personally run townhouse rather than a large hotel.
Rooms are en-suite and come with drinks provided, and guests have use of a TV lounge with game consoles alongside free WiFi throughout. The property also has its own bar, a garden, a gym and a spa with sauna, plus luggage storage for those arriving early or leaving late. Breakfast is served on site, and pets are welcome.
Outside the door, the surrounding area suits an active stay, with cycling and walking routes, golf, fishing, horse riding and watersports all nearby, along with pubs, restaurants and entertainment for evenings out. It's a straightforward, well-equipped base for exploring Newquay and the coast beyond.

We enjoyed a wonderful 2 nights' stay at St. Bernards Guesthouse. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. Our room #4 was on the 2nd floor, spacious, super clean, comfortable beds, nice view over the neighbouring Rooftops, small but cute bathroom and even an Alex player. BreKfast was lovely, continental options as well as hot options to choose from. Highly recommended!

This was a wonderful stay -- the hosts were so accomodating, including welcoming guests with home-made cake! The room was well-appointed, even including a bathrobe (which does not seem the norm at small mom & pop inns). Everything was perfect!

Nice and tidy rooms. Located in the centre of Newquay. Super friendly host and great breakfast. We Had a very nice stay. Absolute recommendation!
