What guests say
Beautiful pub situated on the Chagford highstreet. Upon entry to the bar no welcome was offered and the bloke behind the bar was miserable. We sat outside in the rear courtyard and then moved inside to see most of the place it's a beautiful buildingb with a lot of history. Two other interactions with staff were pleasant and food being brought out to other guests looked good. The price of two pints came to £12 something which is the most expensive in Chagford.

From the minute we arrived, we’ve been treated wonderfully, food has been great, the room is definitely a older place, but I’m pleased with what they’ve done with the decor. No ac, but I’m not expecting it, I came for the charm of a century old establishment. Not a Disneyland Resort. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful experience.

What an absolute gem of a place!! First of all the staff- all of them, without exception, were friendly, ultra helpful and just seemed like they loved working there! That’s unusual! Next, the room- so clean, well designed and the bed is amazingly comfortable! 5* all the way Finally the food. . . Well, just go and try it- wow! Reasonably priced too for gourmet choices! Biggest take away for me though (although everything was excellent) were the staff. I hope whoever reads this review from the 3 crowns, gives all their staff a massive hug- they 100% deserve it! What a team! ❤️

We are currently staying here as part of a Rick Steves tour group and are absolutely loving it. The Three Crowns is a beautiful property full of character and history. Our rooms are tastefully decorated in period decor, which really makes you feel immersed in the heritage of the building. The staff are wonderful. Very happy, positive, and they go out of their way to create a warm, friendly setting for all the guests. We are visiting from Canada and this has been such a memorable and authentic experience. Highly recommended!
