Our first time visiting this weekend 3-5th July 26. Beautiful views, very clean shower/toilet blocks. Very lovely staff and lovely clubhouse! Will definitely be returning!

What a lovely peaceful spot , we hadn't been to gatton waters before but out first trip this year in our caravan. Had been allotted a lovely pitch looking over the lake not too far from toilets. , had some lovely neighbours arrive very friendly they caught a lot of fish. Ideal for fishing , didn't use the bar. We chilled and used BBQ. , very relaxing. Owner was very friendly and showed us everything we needed, so quiet perfect relaxing break we hope to be back , enjoyed every moment. Thank you. Sandringham is very close by. A lovely visit.

Just returned from 5 nights on this campsite. It is conveniently located for places of interest. The wildlife is abundant. The facilities very clean and a defect which occurred to a shower was quickly repaired. Mark is a personable and an active hands on site owner who opens the bar at regular times (he opened for england football match). We requested a shady pitch as there was a heatwave and we had dogs and Mark gave us a choice of 3 places. We picked 80 which was under trees and faced the lake and only a few metres away from the showers and toilets. We had a great time and would definitely return. Thanks Mark.

On the whole our two night stay was fine. The downside was that on our second night a caravan pitch was put in front to the left of us quite close and we had their BBQ smoke wafting right into our campervan. It also interfered with the view and feeling of privacy. There were pitches either side too. The owner said he was fully booked over the Bank Holiday weekend. We felt he was cramping the pitches in with the one in front of us to be honest, which took away the privacy and peacefulness of the site. Also be aware there are fishing areas around the lake, which could also be an issue if you want privacy. The showers and toilets, although very clean, the showers were not fit for purpose in that the flooring is not level and so the shower water drains away across the floor by the sink area and also into the toilet areas. The hot water is also scalding which requires addressing. It could be a better site if further funding was applied to get it up to the 5 stars that people have given before, in our opinion.
