Crarae

A traditional stone cottage standing directly across the road from the water, Crarae commands views of the Firth of Clyde from its living room and two of the bedrooms. Everything is on the ground floor: a wood-burning stove anchors the open-plan living space, the kitchen holds a full range of modern appliances including a dishwasher and washing machine, and four bedrooms provide sleeping for eight—three with kingsize beds and one with bunks. Two bathrooms service the property, one with a bath and shower cubicle, the other with a shower cubicle.

You have the whole place to yourself, with on-site parking for three cars and two gardens (front and rear) enclosed and furnished. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and logs for the wood burner are all included; pets stay free. The nearby Sannox Christian Centre and Sannox Bay—where you can swim, kayak and paddleboard—lie within walking distance. The shoreline and coastal paths begin right outside. Smoking is not permitted.
