The Creagan
North Ayrshire
The Creagan sits in an elevated position above Corrie village on Arran's east coast, a location that delivers views across the water from its decking. The cottage is traditional in character—original features include wooden panelling, an open fire in the living room and a roll-top bath—combined with practical modern additions like a wood burner in the kitchen and a dishwasher. Patio doors open from the dining area onto the deck, which becomes the obvious place to spend time on warmer days.
Three bedrooms sleep six: a double and two singles on the ground floor, plus another bedroom with two three-quarter beds upstairs. The single bathroom is on the ground floor. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals. Essentials including heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with initial fuel for both fires. An external utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Private parking for two cars is on site, and a bike store is available. Pets are welcome.
Corrie is quieter than nearby Brodick, six miles south, and the village has a hotel with a seaside beer garden within walking distance. The decking and garden slope downward with no handrails. Smoking is not permitted inside. One dog may stay with you.
