What visitors say
Donna is an excellent host and the site whilst "back to basics" is very well kept. The shower and toilets were spotless and facilities for washing up, fresh water and even a covered area to dining if the weather doesn't play fair Top quality and value Will visit again

We had a fantastic stay at Wamphray & would love to go back if we're in the area again! Donna and her husband were absolutely lovely. We received such a warm welcome from them, the plots were generously large. The field is very big, with 2 very friendly donkeys and a shetland pony as neighbours. It's a prime location to the nearby coastal towns (north berwick is lovely!) and a short walk to the train station, for a 30 min train journey into Edinburgh. We would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful pop-up campsite, perfect for kids as loads of safe space to run around. Mini Donkeys Winston and Logan were happy to be fed and petted. Everything is clean and well ran, Donna was lovely chatting to the kids and giving tips of local area. Raised bbqs allowed, water tap, washing up sink, portaloos, portashower on site. Short drive to local beaches, pubs, shops etc 10/10

Stayed in scotland for 11 days over three campsites. this one was the smallest of the three, but it was the best. well spaced out pitches, able to park car next to your tent, space for kids to play safely. only toilets and shower were portable ones but these were cleaner than the fixed ones in bigger sites. owners are lovely and friendly. donkeys are so cute and kids can feed and groom them in the morning for free. short walk to the train station, and about 30 minutes to Edinburgh on the train. would 100% stay again and recommend to friends.
