Galleons Reach

Galleons Reach is a first-floor apartment in the coastal village of Instow, North Devon, with views across the estuary towards Appledore. The property sleeps four guests in two bedrooms—a king and a zip-and-link bed that splits into singles on request—with one bathroom and a living and dining room. Everything needed for a self-catering break is here: a equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. There is private parking for one car and a sitting-out area with garden furniture.

Instow itself is within walking distance, with a shop, pub and restaurant roughly a mile away. The beach, with its sand dunes, lies equally close. The village is well-placed for exploring further: Bideford town, the longer sands at Westward Ho! (three miles), and Exmoor are all accessible. The Tarka Cycle Trail runs through the area, and the North Devon coast opens up to walkers heading west towards Clovelly and Hartland Quay. An indoor swimming pool at Northam is two and a half miles away. One dog is welcome and stays free of charge. The property does not permit smoking.
