We wanted a camping getaway for a few days in May and found Treyhill Farm in North Devon. We booked one of the bell tents for 4 nights. From the moment we arrived we picked up on the personal touch of the campsite. Managed by Jessica, the site is situated in a small but ideal garden space. Intimate with wonderful views. Whether you are tent camping or using one of the bell tents or gypsy huts, everything is thought of. From the cleanliness and accessibility of the toilets and showers, to the small touches of quality bedding and fairy lights. For kids there are games and a tree swing and chickens to feed. All of this really added top value to our stay and we thank Jessica for her welcome and attentiveness. 20 minutes to Westward Ho! Beach and slightly further afield for other surrounding coastline. Highly recommend.

Lovely location and a beautiful environment. We stayed a night in the shepherds hut which was great, very cosy and well kitted out with lots of thoughtful touches. Really appreciated the proper shower room which you don't always get with clamping.

I have just stayed in the most charming Shepherds Hut with a most glorious view over the Devon countryside. Hirondelle has everything you need, double bed, sofa, kitchen, fridge and bathroom. All in top condition. Hosts Jess and Tim were so helpful and kind, what a team! Peace & quiet, a wonderful restful break and enjoyable strolls around Bideford just 10 mins away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing site! it's such a relaxing and friendly place to spend the weekend with super friendly & helpful hosts. We cycled to the site from Barnstaple via the Tarka Trail which worked really well for us. We're already looking forward to our next visit :)
