Grove Cottages - Oak Tree Cottage

Oak Tree Cottage is a single-storey property where everything happens on one level. You step into an open-plan living space with a dining area and kitchen flowing together, with patio doors opening onto a lawned garden—useful for summer meals or simply watching the light change. The sitting room has a Freeview TV. One bedroom contains a double bed, the other two singles; the bathroom has a bath with shower over it. One dog is welcome here.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, plus a washing machine. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with electricity and heating through the winter months. There's parking for two cars on site, and the garden has furniture and a BBQ. The cottage suits families or small groups wanting their own self-contained base without having to share the building with other guests.

Instow, an unspoilt seaside village with a large sandy beach, is roughly a quarter-mile away, along with pubs and restaurants. The Tarka Trail runs through the area for walking and cycling. North Devon's other beaches—including the surf spots at Croyde and Woolacombe—are within reach for a day out, and Exmoor lies close by. No smoking inside the property.
