Surfers Hideaway

Woolacombe's three miles of golden sand draw families, walkers and surfers in equal measure, and the village itself has everything from fish and chip shops to proper restaurants. A mile away on the quieter side of Europa Park, Surfers Hideaway sits ready for the next wave or countryside ramble. The chalet is a single-storey property with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area that flows into two bedrooms and a wet room.

One bedroom has a double bed; the other has bunks. The living area includes a sofa that pulls out into a double bed if you need the extra sleeping space, plus a TV with Freeview and a selection of DVDs. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave—enough to cook properly or reheat takeaway. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. One dog can stay free, though there's no outdoor space, so you'll need to bring a bed for them. The chalet sleeps four and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. A pub sits within a mile, and the Murco with its Premier shop is nearby for supplies.
