The Bake Barn

Woolacombe has drawn families and surfers for decades. The beach stretches for three miles, with enough sand to stay uncrowded even in peak season, and conditions that make it one of the country's better breaks. The Bake Barn sits on the top floor of a building just above it all—a hundred metres or so from the shore, with the town's pubs and shops nearby on foot.

The apartment sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a king that can split into singles if needed. Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A modern bathroom with walk-in shower serves the bedrooms, while the kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering. The open-plan living space has Velux windows that flood the place with light and frame views towards the beach. One bedroom opens onto a private terrace—the obvious place to watch the sunset or simply sit out with a coffee. There is parking for one car.

No smoking inside. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
