Bee Keepers Cottage

Bee Keepers Cottage comes properly equipped for a self-catering break. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine, so you can manage without eating out every night. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, the other with two single beds—sharing a bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Downstairs there is a second living space with a sofa bed, useful if you have children, plus a separate toilet and dining room. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The cottage sleeps four and you have the run of the place to yourselves.

Built as a bakehouse long ago, the building keeps its original character: wonky walls and exposed beams throughout, handcrafted details on the stairs, the solidity of something built to last. Ground floor living is split between a main room with a smart TV and a quieter space that opens to the garden—good for reading or a morning coffee away from the rest of the cottage. Outside there is an enclosed patio with garden furniture and a bike store; parking for two cars is available. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.

Wells-next-the-Sea is a few miles away on the North Norfolk coast, with its quay and beach. The surrounding countryside offers walking and quiet exploration; Machrimore is nearby. The village itself is small and rural, the kind of place where a self-catering cottage makes more sense than chasing restaurants.
