Built as a traditional chalet on an established coastal park, Driftwood sits entirely at ground level, making it straightforward to access. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area with dining, while the kitchen has an electric cooker and microwave for everyday cooking. Bedroom 1 contains a double bed and its own shower cubicle; Bedroom 2 has two singles and a second ensuite. Bed linen, towels, heating, electricity and wifi are provided, and there is parking for two cars on the property grounds.
Mundesley beach, with its wide sand, lies a short walk away. The North Norfolk coast stretches in both directions—dunes, salt marshes and working quays punctuate the shoreline, and Cromer's pier and Wells-next-the-Sea's waterfront are within reach by car or the local coast bus. Inland, the Norfolk Broads offer water-based exploration, while Felbrigg Hall, Blickling and Sandringham Estate suit those interested in historic homes. Bewilderwood, Amazonia Zoo, the North Norfolk Railway and various nature reserves fill a full itinerary. The village itself has restaurants and cafés. Please note there are steps within the shared grounds, and smoking is not permitted indoors.
