North Norfolk

Mundesley is a quiet coastal village where the North Sea meets Norfolk countryside. Jenny's Cottage sits within easy reach of the beach, local shops and cafés, and the wider attractions of the Norfolk coast—Cromer and Sheringham are close by, while the Norfolk Broads and Norwich are half an hour's drive away. The cottage itself is a 19th-century mid-terrace property with wooden floors, a wood burner in the living room, and enough character to feel like a proper escape.

Two bedrooms sleep four: one with a king bed, the other with two singles. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower. Downstairs you'll find a living room, dining room and kitchen equipped for self-catering, along with a washing machine. Parking is available on site for two cars, and there is a bike store if you want to explore the network of quiet lanes and footpaths that spread out from the village. Both front and rear gardens are enclosed, with seating outside. One dog stays free of charge. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included, along with initial fuel for the wood burner. The cottage has steep stairs, which may not suit everyone with mobility difficulties.

A sandy, dog-friendly beach lies just 330 yards away. Gold Park, with its mini golf, skate park and play area, is on the cottage's doorstep. Birdwatching, fishing, golf and bowling are all available locally. For a day trip, Horsey Gap (30 minutes' drive) is known for its seal colony. No smoking inside.
