Watchkeeper’s Cottage
North Norfolk
Watchkeeper's Cottage works well for small families or couples wanting a straightforward seaside break. The ground floor has a living and dining room with a wood-burning fire, and a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with two singles—and a bathroom with a bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered in the price.
The back garden is enclosed and lawned, with a patio and barbecue, and a gate leads directly into an adjoining park. That park has crazy golf, toddler swings, basketball and tennis courts, a skateboard park and open grass, then connects straight through to the beach—just a short walk away. The village of Mundesley itself sits on your doorstep, with shops and cafes 100 yards off and a pub at 300 yards. Dog-friendly beaches are 10 minutes' walk in either direction. Cromer, with its pier and attractions, is 7 miles south; North Walsham market town is 5 miles; and the Norfolk Broads and boat hire at Wroxham are 12 miles away. One pet stays free. The cottage does have open and narrow stairs to the first floor.
