The Old Candle Shop

This converted candle shop in Little Walsingham dates back generations as a village fixture, though its interiors are entirely contemporary. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a wood-effect electric burner, a well-equipped kitchen, and a double bedroom. Upstairs, two further beds occupy the first floor—a single and a cabin bed, which works well for children—alongside a shower room. The whole property is yours alone, with parking on the road outside and a small garden area with seating.

Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi come as standard. One small dog is welcome. The village itself centres on the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham and has a farm shop, general store, pubs and cafés within easy walking distance. Wells-next-the-Sea lies nearby with its beach and painted huts. The North Norfolk coast stretches in both directions—cliff paths, dunes, marshes and creeks punctuate the shoreline. No smoking indoors.
