The Old Laundry is a thoughtfully renovated two-bedroom cottage in Fakenham, North Norfolk, sleeping four guests. The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview Smart TV and a kitchen/dining space fitted with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a king-size bed and one with two single beds, both with Smart TVs—and a bathroom with bath, shower and heated towel rail. The property has ramp access and comes with a travel cot, highchair and stairgate if needed.
Essentials including electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The cottage sits on its own, with private parking for two cars, an on-site EV charging point, a bike store, and an enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted. The village sits within reach of Norfolk's beaches, countryside and nature reserves; Wells-Next-The-Sea has sandy beaches and a quay, Blakeney is known for salt marshes and seal-spotting boat trips, and Cromer and Sheringham offer traditional seaside attractions. Inland, Holkham Hall, Blickling Estate and the Norfolk Broads are all accessible for day trips.

Lovely cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Nice garden. Dogs welcome but only downstairs. If you're dog sleeps in the bedroom with you keep that in mind. Great location for Norfolk north coast, Wells 15 minutes, Sheringham/Cromer half an hour, Walsingham 5 minutes, Fakenham 10 minutes. Great fish and chips at Wells and fab takeaway, Marmaris Grill in Fakenham.

I would recommend this delightful cottage to anyone wanting to explore Northwest Norfolk. Its lovely for dogs and has an enclosed courtyard garden which is ideal for them to run around in. Excellent modern finish with a cosy interior. A true cottage. The building has been restored with care and attention especially to the original architecture of flint and red brick. Great location to travel from to other places within the county. Lovely rural setting close to Walshing, Binham, Wells and Holt. Wish I could own my own cottage now. Would return anytime for a break or holiday in this peaceful part of the world. Thanks to Helen for our stay and look forward to staying at the cottage in the future.

What a lovely time we had at The Old Laundry! The house is finished to a high standard, clean, warm and spacious with a very well equipped and large kitchen. A super location for visiting North Norfolk all year round and for visiting Thursford Christmas Spectacular – just a five minute drive away. Great Snoring is quiet and safe whilst being close enough to all the main North Norfolk points of interest. David, Helen and family were really welcoming and made our stay perfect. I really appreciated the welcome pack as well as the local booklets, maps and the delicious eggs, nibbles and wine. I would highly recommend The Old Laundry and will certainly come back again. Thank you very much for a really enjoyable time, we couldn’t have asked for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
