The Studio

The Studio is a thatched cottage with direct access to its garden and water views across to Hickling Broad. You enter at ground level into a living and dining space with a wood burner and French doors that open onto the garden, where you can sit among the trees and lawns bordering the water. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with singles—and a shower room complete the layout.

The cottage works well for families or two couples. Bed linen is provided, and the essentials of heating and electricity are covered. There is parking on site and boat garaging available. A pub and shops are within a mile at Hickling. The property does not permit smoking.

Waxham beach lies four miles away; Hickling Broad itself, the largest of the Norfolk Broads, is on the doorstep for those interested in wildlife and water. Wroxham, known as the Capital of the Broads, is ten miles distant and offers boat hire, galleries, craft studios and riverside pubs. Fishing and windsurfing are available in the vicinity.
