The Willows

The Willows is a four-bedroom house on the North Norfolk coast, close enough to walk to the beach. What sets it apart is the private indoor heated swimming pool—8m by 4m, roughly the size of a decent competition lane—which means families can swim regardless of weather or tide. The Norfolk Broads lie nearby too, easily reached by car; boat hire and river trips run daily from various points, with plenty of waterside restaurants dotted along the waterways.

The whole property is on one level. Four bedrooms sleep eight: two doubles with en-suite showers on the ground floor, plus two rooms with single beds each. The kitchen has a range, dishwasher and washing machine. There's a living room with a woodburner, a conservatory opening to the enclosed garden, and a main bathroom with both bath and shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included; logs for the wood burner come as standard.

Couples and families are welcome; the single-level layout works well for anyone with mobility considerations. Parking takes two cars in the garage plus one in the private drive. Cromer and Sheringham, known for seafood restaurants and the Poppyline Steam Railway, are a short drive along the coast. Further out, RSPB reserves and salt marshes offer serious birdwatching, and boat trips from Blakeney visit seal colonies and nature reserves. Norwich, 18 miles away, has shopping and dining if you want an inland day out.
