This is the best campsite I've ever stayed at, HOWEVER it's not for everyone. I liked it because it's quiet, tranquil and peaceful. Yes, I did not go in the summer holidays when its busy with families, but people are respectful of the quiet hours of the campsite rules.. There are no yellow coat shows or arcades, this is a place for reflection. Theres a short walk to the beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach, but be respectful of the seals when they're about. The shop is ample. The toilet block facilities were clean. The lodge was clean and everything thought of, and to note, the first lodge I've ever stayed in with decent toilet roll that doesn't feel like sand paper !! Theres even a large dog field, that's clearly well taken care of. This site has thought of everything, all the little details. To note, phone reception is horrific here, but basic WiFi is available. I would suggest planning where you're going to go with postcodes etc before arrival. Loads of unusual and quirky cafes nearby ! I shall return and definitely recommend! For quiet people only... !!

Spent a week in our caravan for our holidays. Waxham sands is a great site, clean, shop is good sells all the essentials you need, the nightly food wagons which come to site are really good, some not the cheapest but good food. Play areas for kids are ideal. Sea is just a 5 min walk over the dunes to a mainly sandy beach, with a few seals bobbing about aswell, perfect. Only negative I have about the camp site is that the pitches are a bit to close for our liking, some people might not worry but neighbours bit to close. Will definitely visit again, hopefully next year.

We had a super stay at Waxham Sands over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Spencer and his team really looked after us. The caravan's were spotlessly clean and everything was like new. The shop was well equipped and the catering vans on site an added bonus. The whole site was beautifully kept and just a stones throw from the beach too. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Waxham sands. The staff are so lovely and the accommodation is first class. Everywhere is so clean and tidy and wow the hot tub was very enjoyable. Its around 30 minutes from Great yarmouth centre but in our experience the traffic is ok to and from there. It may be a little remote for some people but as a family of 3 it was perfect for a nice relaxing break. The only problem I had was getting in and out of the shower being a plump person lol. We can't wait to plan our next visit. Thank you again Waxham 💖
