About Hawes Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Hawes Caravan and Motorhome Club Site occupies a modest 80 pitches in North Yorkshire, making it a small operation where you are unlikely to find yourself crammed in with hundreds of others. The pitches themselves are generously sized and well-maintained, with showers and toilet blocks that visitors consistently find spotless. The site sits just a few minutes' walk from Hawes village, where you'll find shops and pubs, and the Hawes National Park Visitor Centre is within easy reach.
This is proper walking country. The site's location puts you on the edge of the Dales with immediate access to trails offering expansive views across the valleys and hills. The staff come across as genuinely helpful and attentive to what campers need. If you want a small, cleanly run base for exploring the surrounding countryside without the feel of a large, busy park, this fits the bill.

What visitors say
Great campsite just outside the town, very well maintained with good size pitches. Hawes has a couple of pubs some shops to look round and a fab chippy... Great place to go to enjoy the coutryside there are lots of walks around. Really enjoyed our stay.

Good location, close to town. White Hart does a 5* Sunday lunch and the staff and customers are great. If you've come for the "Force" be advice that the fellah who's now got the Green Dragon charges £4 each to see Hardraw Falls. It's a nice pub as ever but the garden used to be free access to drinkers; plus, like so many other C&M club sites - the wi-fi is utter garbage. We stayed a couple of nights at Usher Gap - fabulous site, close to 2 eateries, great walks and no long list of rules as per C&MC.

Lovely site with a great shower block, usual Motorhome and caravan club site excellent standards and very helpful and friendly staff. Fab views on both sides of the site or the surrounding hills/ mountain's. There's a working farm at the bottom of the site but it's lovely to hear the cows mooing on a morning waiting for their breakfast. Only a 10 minute walk into Hawes which has great pubs, coffee shops and a small Spar. Also very easy to walk to the Wensleydale Creamery which has an excellent shop and cafe. A very highly recommended site. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Beautiful location, surrounded by hills and countryside very picturesque. Exceptionally well maintained site, large hard standing pitches and a superb dog walking area. Lovely walk into the village with excellent choice of pubs & eateries. The two wardens Glen & his wife were so pleasant professional and helpful, absolutely nothing was too much trouble and they went above & beyond when we had a problem with the jockey wheel on our caravan. Extremely dedicated couple, we can't thank them enough. Just what is needed on sites. Will definitely be back !
