Campsite in Lythe, North Yorkshire, with showers, a few minutes' walk from the village shop and pub.

About Lythe Caravan And Camping Site

Lythe Caravan and Camping Site sits on the high street of a small North Yorkshire village between Whitby and the coast. The site has shower facilities and pitches within easy reach of everything the village offers: a pub and community shop are both just a short walk away, making it convenient for picking up supplies or a drink without needing to drive.

The location works well as a base for exploring the wider area. Whitby, with its harbour, fish and chips reputation and clifftop abbey, is close enough for a day trip, while the North York Moors and coastal paths are accessible for walking and exploring. For those seeking quieter countryside, the setting provides a genuine village experience rather than a dedicated tourist facility.

Lovely site with seaviews. Good, clean showers and facilities. Handy community village store with a cafe minutes away. Bus stop right outside too, for buses into Whitby.

Lovely campsite, good size pitches with lovely views. Easy walk into Sandsend, but not so much going up hill! Toilets and showers were clean and tidy & few washing up points.

Excellent site, great location, bus stop outside 15 mins to Whitby every 1/2 hr. Owner extremely helpful. Toilets and showers great and lovely sea views. Community shop over the road has a great garden out the back for tea, cakes and sandwiches. If the pub was open normal times this site would be perfect but we fully understand and sympathise with the commercial issues.
