Sunnyside dates to 1760 and sits in the village of Sandsend, on the North Yorkshire coast between Whitby and Runswick Bay. The cottage is less than 150 yards from the beach and within reach of the Cleveland Way, with direct access to local walking routes that need not rely on a car. The village itself has two pubs, three cafés, a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, a seafood specialist, and a general shop 250 yards away.
The property sleeps five across three bedrooms: a king, a double, and a single. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one in an external utility room. Downstairs, the living room has a smart TV and an open fire (fuel included), and the kitchen/dining room contains a gas cooker, dishwasher, and fridge. An enclosed garden with terrace and seating looks onto views of the sea, valley and grounds. Essentials are covered: electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all supplied, as is heating throughout. A washing machine, tumble dryer and bike store are available, plus private parking on site. No smoking inside.
The cottage suits families and groups wanting to explore the Yorkshire coast without needing to drive daily. Whitby's abbey, pavilion and shops lie two miles away, while the sandy beach at Sandsend has a lifeguard in season.
