Ideslly situated to walk to Ingleton falls, however due to the bad weather unable to pitch on the grass pitches, so Was offered a tarmac area, via a telephone call from the owner via a man who lived in the cottages, which after along drive seemed a good idea, with hindsight it wasn't as the site is not secure and our van Was park right Infront of a gate directly opening onto the road. The site had no security measure and after returning to find tyre marks on the concrete near our van believe we have had a lucky escape. The owner very pleasant lady came to collect her money after the second day, but I believe she could have come earlier given the weather conditions and where we had parked. There we no directions to were things were and my husband after wandering around found the dated shower and toilet block, Not the most relaxing holiday as I was constantly wondering if the van would still be there when we returned for a day out. With hindsight which is wonderful thing we should have lost money and found secure site

Have visited The Trees on a number of occasions over the years. A small and well maintained site, ideally located for Ingleton and the many interesting places in the area. The price per night is nearly half that of the big caravan club sites.
