Saltburn-by-the-Sea sits on the edge of the North York Moors, with coastal walks and beach villages within easy reach. Fern House, a four-storey property sleeping eight, gives you the whole place to yourself—useful when you're coordinating a larger group or multi-family trip. The accommodation spans three floors: ground level holds the living room with woodburner and a well-fitted kitchen opening onto a patio garden that catches the afternoon sun; four double bedrooms are distributed across the first and second storeys, with two bathrooms between them (one upstairs with a roll-top bath and walk-in shower, one on the top floor with a shower cubicle). Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered, plus Wi-Fi if you need it. A travel cot and highchair are available. There's parking for one car on the drive and further spaces on the street outside.
The village of Hinderwell itself has a pub, a café in the old schoolhouse, and fish and chips. Walking options are substantial: the Cleveland Way runs along the cliff tops linking the bays, and Runswick Bay—with a sandy beach—is about half an hour on foot. Staithes and Saltburn are nearby if you want a change of scene or a proper seaside town. No smoking inside.
