Field House

Couples and small families will find Field House works well as a base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. The 1890s cottage holds four guests across two bedrooms—one with a king bed, the other with a single and a pull-out child's bed—plus a bathroom upstairs with a bath and shower. Downstairs is an open-plan layout with kitchen, dining and sitting areas, along with an enclosed front garden and rear patio for outdoor time.

The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with a gas cooker, microwave, washing machine and coffee maker. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered. One car can park on site. The village of Hinderwell has local pubs, a fish and chip shop and butcher's, plus a café in the old school building.

Runswick Bay beach is a 20-minute walk or short drive away, with its golden sand and cobbled streets to explore. Staithes lies further north along the coast, and Saltburn—known for its Victorian pier and tram—is also within reach for a day trip. No smoking inside the property.
