Garden House

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Garden House comes with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen has a range-style cooker, dishwasher and microwave; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, along with logs for the wood burner. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with an ensuite—one has a four-poster bed, the other a super kingsize—plus a third bathroom downstairs. The open-plan living area centres on a wood burner with french doors leading to a patio where you can sit with countryside views. On-site parking fits two cars, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

The detached house sits in Thimbleby village on the edge of North York Moors National Park, surrounded by woodland with Cod Beck Reservoir nearby. Walking and mountain biking trails cross the moorland close by; Sheepwash, a popular picnic spot on an old drovers' road, is just upstream. Osmotherley village, a mile away, has pubs, restaurants, a shop and teashop. Local attractions include Mount Grace Priory and Rievaulx Abbey. The house is not suitable for smoking.
