Happy Nest

Happy Nest sits within a small collection of Scandinavian-style lodges in North Yorkshire, positioned for access to scenic walks and a well-known local hill. The village has a pub within a mile, making it straightforward to venture out for a meal or a drink without much effort. The setting suits groups wanting both activity and downtime without travelling far from base.

The lodge spreads across three floors and sleeps 10. The top floor holds a double and a twin bedroom, with a modern shower room featuring a walk-in shower. Two further bedrooms on the lower floors provide the remaining beds. The layout gives groups space to spread out, with a comfortable sitting area for quieter evenings, a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals, and an enclosed terrace outside. A hot tub sits on the terrace, overlooking the private garden. One well-behaved pet stays free. Bed linen, towels, wifi and electricity are included. The property is yours alone—no other guests sharing the space—and you can check in from 4pm.

On site, there's a bistro and bar available if you'd prefer not to cook. Optional spa sessions and wellness classes can be arranged, though these are extras to book. Parking is ample and private. Smoking is not permitted inside.
