Jack’s Cottage
North Yorkshire
Worton sits in the Yorkshire Dales, a hamlet where the valley opens toward Wensleydale's southern ridges. Jack's Cottage is a single-storey detached house on the edge of this quiet settlement, with views across the farmland to Thornton Rust and Ellerkin Scar. The village pub is within walking distance, as are a shop and restaurant.
Inside are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and ensuite shower; a second room has two single beds, and the third has bunks—suitable for children or a flexible sleeping arrangement for six. The living room has a wood burner and Freesat television. The kitchen and dining area are open-plan, with what you need to cook properly. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and superfast Wi-Fi are covered. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them.
Outside, an enclosed garden wraps around the cottage with a patio, furniture and flower beds. One car parks directly at the property; larger vehicles can use additional space a short walk away. One dog or cat can stay free. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
